Final reminder to those yet to submit. Kickoff for the first match is in about two hours from this post. There really is no reason to wait in this pool. You come crying if some internet error or minor life emergency presents itself, and I'll listen with sympathy but give nothing else heh.

Not dismissing Bodoe but their league also agreed to postpone their early games (they just started this month). For me, it is one big reason theyre doing so well with their style of play that needs all the outfield players to press like mfs.

They still deserve everything they have now, I like them a bunch, but it wasn't their arctic pitch as much as their fresh legs that have really, really pummeled teams down in Champions League.

It has been a big problem over the years, and when you follow a team that plays many games, you can see it in their play, the leaden legs, the hollowed eyes. Citeh and Chelski used to be the ones with a huge squad to handle this well but Pep's been trimming down too and it is showing.

This was a tricky round and we saw several surprise results, but nothing is decided yet and we have return matches playing next week.
