IIRC, I was 1.5 point ahead you and when PSG started destroying Inter I thought that I'm safe as you had just 2:1 and Brainboss had same prediction like mine. So, I have no idea how things works there .

Yeah, they gave everything againsty Barca and ended without nothing. Yesterday during 2nd half I was thinking for some time how final would look if it would Barca instead of Inter.
Regarding to BTTS, when it comes to final, teams play cautious football as cost of mistake is trophy. So, it's not worth to expect high scoring game, but that we didn't had BTTS 7 year in a row is really surprising.

Congratulations to Strongkored for winning Pot B. In almost every round, he managed to win more than 10 points.
I was - for me it was a real surprise - in third place, just 0.4 points behind Saint-loup. Congratulations.

On the other hand, I think some users gave up too early on Pot B, or risked too much on more "unrealistic" choices.



I hope that with the improvements I'm trying to make, the guys will be even more motivated next season.

While you're at it, I also sent everyone a PM with the link that you can use to update your BTC address. I believe part of the discussion for this was also that the only way to make this format work easily and independently without a password was to have me/josue see all your submissions, and then only we could edit and change answers by you resubmitting forms.

Perhaps more importantly, privacy, which I think a lot of forum players find really important. The PIN is almost like a seed phrase for your wallet (well I'm horribly comparing it as it's not even close security wise haha). The PIN allows you to do everything yourself while also protecting your privacy (as email recovery is optional with this PIN). But it did require players to remember them (though really we only had 2 or 3 people who lost it).

joker_josue... what are your thoughts here? what if... a user's pin is their BTC address for payment, and we as admin can only see this BTC address at the end of the pot? I know it sounds like we're complicating things but hey, that's what we're here for


Last season, we did very similar but since we had so many winners (about half the pool), trimmed down the prizes to 5 per pot -- this still means roughly 25% of the pool will be winners, which I think offers a good distribution without diluting the prizes.

As explained in OP, it's 30-70 this time instead of 70-30, between Pot A and Pot B. The 80mbtc is thus divided into:
24mbtc for Pot A
56mbtc for Pot B

So 1st to 5th places in each Pot:

So, USA won the gold, incredible goal from Thompson.

Just to share something - this is the first goal Switzerland conceded in over 220 minutes of hockey and it was in a 3v3 OT.
I have never seen anything like this, they conceded a total of 10 goals in 10 games and were the most offensive ones by far - scoring 47.

They conceded 6 of those goals in the first 2 games, meaning that they conceded just 4 times in 8 games. In ice hockey. During the World Championships. I have no words, honestly.
